A Bubble of Hapiness

I almost started writing a long rant-y email about the things that have made me sad/mad this week (i.e. the weather, the hall building and the smell inside the guy-concordia metro station)...but then I read Rhiannon at Liebemarlene's latest post and remembered my resolution to stay positive in 2009!

Its easy enough to let yourself get a little winter bluesy around this time of year, but i think its important to my sanity for me to focus on the good a little more.

This blog always feels like a bit of an escape for me. Like Rhiannon says in her most recent post, the blogging world is so incredibly positive and friendly and has a way of lifting your spirits even in your worst moments!
One of my resolutions for 2009 is to send out more packages, letters and cards by snail mail, just because its so much fun to receive, and when I read about what Jessica from TheCatsPajamas had sent to Rhiannon, I felt compelled to get started right away!

While I do that, here are some pictures that made me see a little bit more of the beauty in the gray, white and slushy mess everyone in Montreal lives in at the moment!

All photos from my heart
P.S. coming home to your bed and a cup of mint tea really really helps after a day of trudging through the slushy, overcrowded streets!

Aww I'm so glad you liked the blog post!! Seriously, I think the weather's been getting to me lately too . . . I've been sort of sad and not myself lately. I think sending out cards is a great idea, though! People will really love it.

Oh, and tomorrow a winter coat will be on its way to you! I'm glad it's going to a place like Montreal where it will get lots of love! :)

The black and white photo reminds me of the movie A Little Princess.

I also want to try and send more real mail this year. I love when I get things in the mail so I am sure other people appreciate it too.
