Built by Wendy

I usually spare myself the agony of browsing designer websites, especially the ones that are kind of within my reach, but not within my price range...Built by Wendy is one of my favourites, up there with APC and Lover, and now Lyell thanks to Sally Jane Vintage...but I made an exception yesterday, upon Brianne Lee's suggestion, I went shopping on the Built by Wendy online Sample Sale (that ends today!) and would have spent about 300$ if I had it!
The number of wonderful 70's blouses with layers, frills and cowl necks was unreal! And some of them are only 10$!!!!
I ended up buying three of them....well, assuming my credit card goes through. These days thats a gamble...but anyway, they are lovely items and I can't wait to try them on with some shorts and sandals..or maybe shorts, tights and little ankle boots, which is a more realistic ambition!
Go check it out before the end of the day!

I almost bought that plaid top too, but I wasn't sure if I could incorporate it for Spring. Let me know how you like it :)

meaghan, a while ago i sent you an invitation to join gilt groupe, which is a site that offers drastically reduced merchandise by different designers. you never even opened the invite! you should search your gmail and let me know if it's expired, so i can send you a new one.

Sarah: thanks, i'll look into it!
Brianne Lee: I'll let you know. I thought the same thing, but I figured at that price, the worst case scenario would be that I have to wait till fall to wear it! :)
Libbz: I don't think I got it! I'll have to check my junk mail, when was this?
Aren Becks: Thanks!
