I just couldn't help myself

I'm jumping right on the bandwagon with every other blogger who has already posted these, because I really think UO's Spring 2010 catalog is just too pretty. Chances are I won't buy a single item because I just can't bring myself to spend money there sometimes, but I'll definitely look at it daily and imagine that the weather here is even half way as wonderful as it looks to be in these photos! I just can't wait to be able to wear little silk dresses with straw hats and socks with little delicate t-strap sandals...or maybe i'll dare to get myself those sky-high platform sandals that are popping up all over the place! Being 5" taller really would be wonderful, even if it is only for a couple months a year! It just wouldn't be responsible to buy them and wear them in Montreal snow...I'd just topple over into a snowbank and freeze to death!
Anyhow, I'll leave you with these images to warm you up, even though I'm sure you've all already seen them about a hundred times!

Goodness, all of those photos make me long for the return on springtime so much! Usually I stay in winter mode a bit longer, but this year I'm just wishing for all of the snow to leave!

What a lovely collection =)

I have seen them, but they are indeed so gorgeous I can't say that I mind seeing them again! Even though I don't shop there, I do love me a good catalog for inspiration and UO seems to have really upped their game lately :)

I love the blouse in the last photo!

Aya: I agree. I keep them saved to my inspiration folder for a glimmer of hope on really cold days!

Penelope: I'm the same way! I usually indulge in big sweaters and layered tights and scarves a little while longer, but really this year I'm so impatient for warmer weather!

Taylor: I am glad you like them too!

Missa: I'm with you! Although I've been known to rummage around their sale section for cheap gems, I just can't bring myself to give them my money most days. They do however provide easy thrifting inspiration since most of their clothes looks thrifted anyway!

Brianne: Oh man i could see you in it !it is great isnt it?

It is a pretty collection! Though I too cant see myself spending money at UO. Which is funny cause it used to be the only place I'd shop, haha :D

I have a hard time spending money at U.O. too (the blue coat I posted on Flickr a few days ago - awesome, but I can't even tell you how many times I've had to sew the buttons back on!). Their catalogue is stunning though and often serves as a great source of inspiration for me when thrifting or vintage hunting.

oy, we've been stocking up on spring and sunny day dresses at my vintage store, and it is making me jones for warm weather like none other (usually i'm too distracted by school to notice the cold and wet and rainy). thanks for sharing these pictures so i don't get too tempted by looking at the catalog!

i got that catalogue in the mail the other day and totally fell in love with it! it's probably one of their prettiest ever! i wanted almost everything in there! i think i'm going to wait for their sales though. i can't afford anything there either!

p.s. you look so pretty in your last post!

I loved the catalog but when looking at some of the clothes online in their product shots, they didn't look the same at all. Much cheaper. That white top with the colorful floral print even had an entire different pattern on the product shot. And that that ruffly floral sundress looks skimpier and just nothing like the warm, lovely photo. I think Urban is messing with us. Grr. Oh well, still a nice catalog.

i actually haven't seen the whole catalog, but i did post the striped dress on my blog :) it all looks pretty amazing!

I love the UO spring collection. I have to admit that I usually fall more towards Anthropologie than UO but this collection has me hooked. I already had my mom get me two pieces from it for my birthday!

I love their spring collection, everything is SO CUTE! And I was going to post these pictures too. I'm still debating whether or not I will, even though everyone else beat me to it! :D

Ugh, isn't that catalog lovely? It makes me sad because I know the stuff won't look good on me, but it's good to get inspiration from. That last blouse is just gorgeous!

When we did eventually decide to get out of bed, we meandered over to St-Viateur bagel for the best Montreal breakfast we could think of, and then since we were in NDG anyway, we decided just to brave the cold and walk around the Monkland Village for a while.
